Foothill College Men's Soccer (1-0-0) took to the field for the first time, aiming for a strong start against Feather River College in their home opener. FRC had beaten them in preseason last year.

Foothill began the game on the front foot, but were unable to break the deadlock before halftime. 

In the 60th minute Arya Hatami beautifully slotted a passs to David Ruiz, who scored in the bottom corner for the 1-0 lead.

The Owls hung on until the end, clinching a 1-0 victory, and marking a great start to the new season.
