Oroville, Calif. - Freshman Rashad Samuels scored a career and game-high 32 points to lead the Butte men's basketball team to a 90-76 win over Foothill to close out the 2023 slate on Wednesday evening.

Samuels shot 12-of-19 from the field with five rebounds and five assists, while sophomore Marvelous Owens racked up 21 points on 60 percent shooting with three rebounds, five assists, and three steals. Sophomore Taylor Keating rounded out the scorers in double-digits with 13 points, adding 10 boards. Freshman Dio Lucido was the team's second-leading rebounder with six, adding four assists and nine points.

Butte (8-9) will host Folsom Lake next on Friday, Jan. 5 at 6 p.m. This game was rescheduled from November 20.
