Hawks close out regular season with 2-0 win over Foothill

Freshman Caitlyn Garrison knocked in her team-leading 14th goal while freshman Tiffany Cheng scored her eighth to help lead the Las Positas College women's soccer team to a 2-0 Coast Conference win over visiting Foothill College in both teams' regular-season finale on Friday.

The Hawks' defense was stellar once again as Las Positas earned its 13th shutout of the season.

LPC will head to the postseason with an impressive 11-4-3 overall record. Las Positas closed out its conference schedule with a 3-4-3 mark to end in fourth place in the final Coast Conference South Division standings.

Seedings and matchups for the upcoming Northern California Regional Playoffs will be announced on Tuesday by the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA).
